It's a better newspaper than the Wall Street Journal and it is built around a particular approach to trading. You could read _How to Make Money in Stocks_ by William O'Neil too–he's the founder of IBD.

Search your local library for other books on stock investing. Try to absorb as much knowledge and understanding as you can.

After you have extensively researched and gained a solid foundation/education then look to open a brokerage account and paper trade–this is trading with play money before you put real capital at risk. You should do extensively before you eventually place your first trade live. Your early live trades should be with a very small position size. Only increase position size when you have done well to limit losses when the market has turned against you.

As for downloading it via a torrent, my two favorite sites are thepiratebay.org and torrentz.com. So I would recommend checking there as well. Out of those three sites, you have pretty good odds that you will find what you are looking for. Hope that helps!

It is fairly straightforward to calculate the probability of each of these ways to get at least one blackjack.
For example, for (aa) — (ab or ba): the probability of (you) = (aa) is (4/52)*(3/51).
The probability of (dealer) = (ab or ba) is (2/50)*(16/49)+(16/50)*(2/49) = (2/50)*(16/49)*2.
So the probability of this combination is (4/52)*(3/51)*(2/50)*(16/49)*2,
which is (4*3*2*16*2)/(52*51*50*49)

After you calculate the probabilities of all the ways of getting at least one blackjack, add them together to get the total.

The answer is 615680/(52*51*50*49) = 0.094757903

Therefore the probability that NEITHER gets a blackjack is 0.905242097

In traditional blackjack if a person bets $10, he gets paid $15 with a blackjack,. With "6 to 5" blackjack, he would only get paid $12. The signs are on the tables that say "6 to 5" payoff, but the average person cares little if anything about the game.

They are something a tangible symbol. People are visual, tactile creatures and having something that one can touch and see is very important. It's somehow a physical transformation that happens. A woman goes from not wearing an engagement ring to having one on her hand. People can see it and know that she's somehow different. Honestly, I can't decide if it's a horribly ingrained gender bias that women are expected to have some sort of physical justification for their relationship status and men aren't or if it's just that we like pretty things. Anthropologically speaking I think wedding and courtship rites are very interesting and I'm always fascinated at the absorption of advertising and marketing ideas into culture. Clearly, American society needed more of a guideline on what to spend on an engagement ring and an advertising agency gave them "2 months salary" and magically that became the standard.
